Welcome to Old Ways: Fuss and Feathers ~ custom requests gladly considered.
At OWF&F making a fuss over who and what matters in your life is a unique experience with a bit of antiquity and vintage-retro style sprinkled about. A blend of tradition and technology dwells here and things are done the old fashioned way….hands-on creation and attention to detail. A refuge from the poor quality and incompetence that pervades these days, and a selection of things that don't look like everything else.
My invitation and stationery designs are built from the ground up and completely created by me…no templates are used. You'll find original, unique designs that will compliment the theme of your event be it fun or elegant, fancy or classic. Because I design my offerings without templates I can easily work with customers to create unique items for custom orders as well.
Also, since I create all of my own designs, all of my designs are tweak-able. Minor adjustments are made at no extra charge...things that require a bit more time carry a customization fee (add a photo, change a color scheme, re-design an existing product)...if your desired customization is not listed as an option for an item, please contact me with your change request(s) before ordering.
You'll never be charged extra for Proof revisions on existing product....I'll work with you until you're delighted with what you've purchased. No fear of being too fussy with me....I'm fussy too, so I get it :-)
Like the style or artwork on one of my designs but want it on a different product? Let me know what you want and I'll let you know if it's possible.

SHOP HOURS:
My regular business/design hours are Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (excluding all US Holidays). I am occasionally available after hours and on Saturdays during busy times of the year.

In a hurry for something in my Shop? Please send a message **before** ordering so I can confirm a time frame for completion. I don't charge extra for "rush orders" however I only accept them if they fit in the workflow of the customer orders I am currently designing.

The note book is just perfect for my contractor husband. He always has his big ideas in the middle of the night and by morning forgets them. He can keep this on the nightstand and jot his ideas down! Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to receive a printed order?
Standard production times can be found in the "Shipping" area on each listing. Note that production time ("ready to ship by") is the time it takes to create your order so be sure to factor in shipping time as well. Most printed orders arrive within 7 to 10 business days if a digital Proof is required and approved promptly and USPS Priority Mail upgrade is selected when ordering. Customer Service Hours:

Gift wrapping and packaging
I am not able to offer gift wrapping services for personalized items in my shop as they dispatch directly from my printer. I am happy to include a gift message on the packing slip for you (there is no pricing information on the packing slip).
Will I receive a Proof?
Proofs are sent for invitations and custom design orders and an approval of proof is required before printing commences.
For personalized guest books, journals, stationery etc. you will receive the layout of the cover of your personalized item with an order confirmation message from OldWaysFussnFeathers on Etsy. If purchasing a guest book, you will have two business days to request changes after which time your order will begin the printing process. Journals and other stationery go to print quickly for quick delivery, however if you request a change shortly after receiving your confirmation message I can usually accommodate.
Returns and Exchanges
Because the items in my shop are personalized and custom made when ordered, I don't accept returns or exchanges. However, should you receive an item that is imperfect or if I make an error personalizing your item, I have a no-stress replacement policy...send me a pic of the issue and I will replace the damaged or incorrect item, no return necessary.
Will it arrive in time for my event?
Orders placed on Etsy by Wednesday, April 24 will ship in time for May 11 - May 12 events IF ordered with Priority Mail Shipping upgrade at checkout
Orders for May 4 - May 5 events can be ordered on my website until Wednesday, April 24

Estimated Arrival Dates
Etsy assigns a range of "estimated" arrival dates that are a combination of time needed to make your item along with different shipping options and locations. The earliest arrival times assume the shortest production time and one-day delivery. The longest arrival times assume longest production time and standard delivery to a long distance location. Neither the short end or the long end of the estimated arrival is typically accurate...it's generally somewhere in between.
